Today was a good first full day. We had overnight oats for breakfast and they were really good. Then we had chores to do; I cleaned the common area and had to take out the recycling in the rain.
My first class was nautical science. I really like the professor (Sean) and he is also the captain! He served in the Navy and Coast Guard.
Second class was Ocean and Society. It’s like history (so not my favorite) but I like the teacher.
My last class was oceanography!! This was my favorite class because I can tell it’s going to be very hands on. I also took notes. Dr. Heather Page is the professor. She is def, but I find it cool she can still teach with a “super power”; she is very inspirational!
For dinner we had this chicken, peanut noodles and rice thing. I put some hot sauce on mine and it was way too spicy
After dinner and playing some games outside with everyone we all had study hall…but did we really study? Nope! We all hung out on couches and I was teaching everyone to tie knots !
We all went back to the cottages and around 22:00 we had a brownie party in house A! Curtis played the guitar again and we were all singing Brown Eyed Girl by Van Morrison.
I fell asleep around 23:30; I was so tired. CANT WAIT FOR TOMORROW (I heard we might go to the beach 🙂
